http://www.blacklightpower.com/

"BlackLight has invented a new primary energy source with applications to heating, distributed power generation, central power generation, and motive power based on a new chemical process of releasing the latent energy of the hydrogen atom, the BlackLight Process. In this process, the electron in an ordinary hydrogen atom is induced to move closer to the proton, below the prior-known ground state to form more stable hydrogen atoms called hydrinos. The large energy released exceeds that required to extract hydrogen from water, such that water may serve as the hydrogen fuel source for the process."

One phrase summary: a radical new type of hydrogen chemistry which generates electric power from water, but not involving "cold fusion".

-

And the abstract of his book:

"Dr. Mills has built on the field generally known as Quantum Mechanics by deriving a new atomic theory--The Grand Unified Theory of Classical Physics (GUT-CP)--from first principles, which unifies Maxwell's Equations, Newton's Laws, and Einstein's General and Special Relativity. The central feature is that physical laws hold over all scales, from the scale of subatomic particles to that of the cosmos.

Quantum Mechanics has remained mysterious to all who have encountered it. Whereas Schrödinger postulated a boundary condition that the wavefunction goes to zero as the radius goes to infinity, resulting in a purely mathematical model of the hydrogen atom, GUT-CP was derived from known physics, i.e. Maxwell's Equations. Under special conditions, an extended distribution of charge may accelerate without radiating energy. This leads to a physical model of subatomic particles, atoms, and molecules. Equations are closed-form solutions containing fundamental constants only and agree with experimental observations.

Further, the Schwarzschild Metric is derived by applying Maxwell's Equations to electromagnetic and gravitational fields at particle production. This modifies General Relativity to include conservation of spacetime and gives the origin of gravity, the masses of fundamental particles, the acceleration of the expansion of the universe (predicted by Dr. Mills in 1995 and since confirmed experimentally), and overturns the Big Bang model of the origin of the universe."

One phrase summary: a unified theory of physics using classical mechanics which casts doubt on almost everything if it's true.

Another one phrase summary: holy fucking shit.

With all the measurements we can take, the amount of testing and research we've done, I think it might be a bit hard to know off the well versed theories of our time. I know that all things must come to an end and new theories have might be proven true, but with all the history the current theories have backing them, it will a hell of a lot of proof to knock off the current standard.

Keep in mind this doesn't change most current other theories, including things we can measure. He isn't completely redesigning the structure of the atom or something. It only changes things we can't really measure, like string theory and other "out there" parts of physics.

It'll be pretty cool should it work out to be a viable energy source. Though given the history of this, some healthy skepticism is in order.

it seems that most things with great hype, just don't work out as well as one would have hoped. nuclear power is still the best alternative and up until the past year or two, hasn't even been brought up again.
