I'm assuming you would just be using it as one big monitor at that point. Or another cool thing you could do is instead of having all 12 in the same place, create like a 4 point star pattern, 4 monitors at each point, and just swivel your chair around. Anyone know what kind of graphic card setup you would need to do the 12 monitors as one thing or to have one box and 12 virtual desktops for the star pattern setup? -unicron You bunch of nerve wracking sons of bitches. This is like playing cards with my brothers kids! |

Well, you can drive two monitors per card (and big monitors require two DVI's to drive some of them), so, you would need 6 cards to run 12 monitors on 1 box. Now, that being said, if Rub does have 12 monitors, I'm willing to bet they are not all on the same machine, and he probably runs a 4 across, 3 row pattern. 12 20".. maybe 12 24" tops. |

I don't remember the exact card, its a matrox and supports 4 monitors. I have 3 of them installed in one machine so the box supports 12 monitors. I only have room for 9. Drinking party at my house, I go upstairs to get someones numbe from outlook... pass out in my chair... friend takes screen door upstairs and convinces me (after he wakes me from my passed out state) that they moved my and my setup outside
