The folks over at Loading Ready Run have started their annual Desert Bus for Hope gaming marathon for the Child's Play charity. So far they've raised over $32,000 $82,000 $135,417.94.

We've been having a ton of problems with some access control software at work on XP and even Vista recently. Won't install right, different configs don't work, etc. Even with some DVR control center software. Windows 7? Slick as hell, everything working out of the box. I'm now convinced Windows 7 compared to all past MS OS's is like this. You've had a girlfriend for 15 years and she's ugly as sin. Beats you, drinks all your beer, and sleeps with your friends. Then one day she comes home hot as hell, with a 12 pack, and a twin sister you never knew about, and they're way open minded and want to try something with you.

Ended up having a seizure at work (I've had 2 in the past) and let me tell you, that shit sucks. You have a memory, and the next one you have is being in the back of an ambulance loaded with gear, and you can't remember shit. Like where I lived, where I worked, which rodes to drive to get home/to work, nothing. For about 30 minutes I was a blank slate. Also, I hit my head coming down, which required 10 staples. And for all that, I only get 10 Tylenol 3's. Shirt was drenched in blood, head wouldn't stop bleeding, the works.

The wife gets a call, and an odd voicemail from this number, about once per month. I wish I had a recording of the Voicemail it leaves her, but it's a computerized voice that sounds like a radio/comm tower of some kind... almost as if it were set to call certain numbers monthly for status updates.

I was starting to play around with NetFlow and I was wondering if anyone uses at their site? Do you export flow stats across a wan/internet to another analyzer? Is this something that can be tunneled and sent from a single collector and fed back up to an analyzer?

A little screwed up story that happened last night, thought it was worth sharing. My roommate has done wresting all his life, and has been taking Jui-Jitsu for 2 years. He's pretty decent at it, but had to quit for the last 6 months due to a severely torn shoulder, which apparently he's torn 3 or 4 times in his life. Last week he got it operated on, and will be in a sling for 6 weeks, and it'll be 4-5 months before he can train again.

The folks over at Loading Ready Run are gearing up for the 3rd annual Desert Bus for Hope which starts November 20th at 6pm. This is a great cause, with all the proceeds going to Child's Play. They're trying to get $10,000 in donations before the driving even starts.
