So, who's age is already affecting them to the point of having to get up a few times a night to pee? That started for me about a year ago. Either that, or I'm drinking WAY too much water before I go to bed, which is also a possibility. But I heard that's an age thing too... which I correlate with the whole having to wake up early, or just waking up early on your own because it's time to get up. heh You haven't been tight since your brother fucked you in third grade. |

That and I have full burial w/ cremains (well an empty urn anyway) in Arlington, $400k life insurance, free VA med care (which has its dangers, no doubt), base access and retiree ID card. So grand scheme about $4400 a month not including benies if that were today. Definitely enough to live on, but I'd probably write for a few magazines and throw out a story now and then to up the buckage. All that said, I will probably not retire early. Jasmine will be 6 years old and I still have a helluva lot of school/clothes/car/trips to pay for. I will likely keep working until she reaches high school age so that I can take over her home schooling and Sandra can return to journalism. That would but me into the 75% retirement range, give us a few more years to stable off, and hopefully outlive this war.It would to be hard to quit before it was "done" Then I have social security to look forward to in my declining years... w00t (assuming its still there) $1500 keyboards are dumb. --voltaic |

I might have to get one of these little things and start poking around. Looks like a number of people are looking at that. Here is a post that looked interesting: http://groups.google.com/group/android-porting/browse_thread/thread/357ae10195f97ba5 BTW - hows the sound out of the speaker? good enough to stream music through and not sound all tiny? I just tried streaming Proton Radio ( http://www.protonradio.com/ ) and it sounded decent for such a small device. Better than what you get out of a clock radio, but not like a set of Bose speakers. Though there is a line out, so you could hook it into something with a bit more substance if you really wanted. Well yea, in reality it's a multimedia linux gizmo that just happens to also work as an alarm clock. I like it because by default you can program in a multitude of alarm options.. so if say you wanted it to play a different sound each day, or vary your wakeup times. set the snooze timer to 5 minutes normally with a backup alarm in case you ignore the music that's playing, and then 15 minutes on days you want to wake up, but don't really have to be up at a set time. not a problem. want it to grab your google calendar for the day and show that after your alarm.. sure. "Why were you late for work?" "My alarm clock crashed" Haven't had it crash on me. Maybe your windows alarm clock would do that. heh. "I hope she and her baby die in a fucking fire." -v |
