Was told by a tech here at work that 3/4 of the valley's cable modems just took a shit. Supposedly they're so flooded with calls you have a 9/10 chance of getting to a 3rd party answering service instead of getting to a Cox tech. Anyone having issues?

I have no advice for you and your downed cox, or how to bring it back up. They have SPAM for that.

I heard there was a fiber cut that was affecting Las Vegas, and Arizona. I didn't have any problems, but then I was drinking at the Freakin' Frog last night, so cable being out didn't affect me.

Nope. Got home around 1am.. went to sleep. Watched Inglorious Basterds and Pulp Fiction while I was there.

You know, I'm not good at picking people out in movies and saying oh... he was in this, and she was in that. But the other day I was watching Sweeney Todd, and saw the woman in it and said "Hey, that's Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter!" and then realized that she looked a lot like Marla from Fight Club... hey, whaddya know?!?!

Back in the days when I hung out with Wah-zek all the time, he would bug the fuck out of me with the whole this actor, this director, this obscure movie filmographer personality bullshit... indeed... In fact, it is one of very few movies I like better than the novel it was based on. While it is not entirely uncommon that I will like a movie "as much" as the book (bladerunner-do andriods dream...), this is a rare case of great actors and a very good director making a story MORE than the author

That said, I do still like pretty much all of Chuck's work. So it's kind of like saying I like pralines and cream ice cream better than vanilla ice cream

You would look funny on fire...
