Just called my congressional peeps: Rep Jackie Speier at 202-225-3531 (got a live person), Sen Barbara Boxer at 202-224-3553 (left a message), and Sen Dianne Feinstein at 202-224-3841 (busy signal) to let them know not to vote for SOPA or PIPA. Took less than five minutes.

What are you doing to assert yourself in the face of corporate politics? Can you spare more than the two seconds it takes to click an easily-ignored online petition? Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/ and type in your zip code to get the phone numbers for your three federal legislators and remind them who they really work for.
