But I did get to see the Henry Ford Museum!! AMAZING place! I'd go back again, for sure! Only did the Museum part though, the whole place could set you back the cost of Disney admission if not careful. But wow... it was awesome! Also went downtown to a Tigers game, went to a new Casino in Toledo, OH, and cruised 8 Mile. That's where the not getting shot part came into play. Headed out for dinners in Troy and Royal Oaks, both much nicer areas than where I was staying, especially Royal Oaks. I mastered the Michigan Left, which had me baffled for a day or two. I also discovered my passport had expired! Luckily I discovered this before trying to cross over to Canada. Was told not to even try and get over to Windsor though, that the line averages 1-2 hours to get over the bridge. Thanks for the suggestions, and while there were a lot of nasty, slummy, bad parts... I'd probably stop into Detroit again given a chance. You ain't from this planet are you, Vincent? Who is gonna mug two black fellas, holding pistols, sat in a car that is worth less than your shirt? |
