on Monday September 7, 2009 @ 12:02pm >> [ reply ][ rating +0 ] I recently finished Terminator Salvation on the 360 for the 1k achievement points, same with Hannah Montanna, and Shellshock 2. From an enjoyment perspective I'm currently playing Call Of Duty 2 again and have been busting out some Guitar Hero 5. The soundtrack has quite a few songs I've never heard of, but lots of fun on the drums! |

on Monday September 7, 2009 @ 11:53am >> [ reply ][ rating +0 ] I beat the main missions in Fallout 3 (and a good chunk of the side missions), and am working on the Broken Steel expansion, plus exploring post apocalypticia. PC has been running stable, so it's been a lot nicer not having the game crash constantly. PC version is moddable as well, so I have the original music on the GNR station, plus about a hundred era appropriate songs. I mean the sound track is good, but the 20 songs it comes with get a bit old after awhile. Also running a mod that lets your dog, dogmeat, carry stuff for you. I figure that it's conceivable that you could get your dog to help carry things, and it saves on having to travel back and forth to your house in megaton because you want to keep more of the junk you find around the wasteland. I picked up the PC version for two reasons. 1: so I could play with some of the mods that makes it much more of an RPG, where you have to manage your diet and water intake, and sleep and such. Yeah! Makes me think of that book 'The Road." (hope the movie doesn't suck btw). And 2: for the sweet sweet gamer points. Yeah! |

on Tuesday September 1, 2009 @ 01:25pm >> [ reply ][ rating +0 ] I recently replayed COD4, in preparation for the new Modern Warfare game. I forgot how much from COD4 was, and I'm TOTALLY looking forward to MW2. I'm playing through the Crysis expansion pack ( never beat it), the Russian add-on pack for World in Conflict and on the 360, SF4, Madden and some Burnout Paradise City. I liked Fallout 3 (also on the PC), but stopped playing, maybe I'll give it a go again some other time. The IA leaves a bit to be desired (the IA in COD4/5 is better) and now now it's some world in Conflict and maybe some TF2 on line. on Sunday August 30, 2009 @ 08:02pm >> [ reply ][ rating +0 ] I play the Evony Online civ-clone for at least a few minutes every day. Started playing Diablo II again the other day now that the wife has her machine and I don't have to sit on the netbook while she hogs my computer I have started playing with my old 3D max stuff. I'm trying to convert some old 2D drawings I did a bit back for a book into 3D. Not having a lot of luck. That's taking up a lot of "gaming" time these days. on Wednesday September 2, 2009 @ 07:09pm >> [ reply ][ rating +0 ] WoW, Aion (a new MMO without the cutesy "kill a bunch of bunny's shit), and Ghostbusters for the 360. I quit WOW in february probably 2 weeks after finally making my Mechanohog. Haven't had the urge to go back since. I want to play Aion myself, which has me motivated to buy a new alienware computer. Then I thought about GTA 4, and it snowballed after that. I'm not real hardware savvy so I've been trying to determine which graphics card and processor would serve me the best in the long run. Anyways, yeah, i'll take another beer with that, dude... ------------------------------------------- ------ Stone the Crow ----------------------------------- --- - |
