Actually, it in and of itself, brings in no revenue. It spends a great deal
doing what it was chartered to do. A lot of it goes to fixing oversights of
its own making. The IRS does, however, have a limited time in its present
form. By the turn of the century, look for major tax reform and significant
restructuring of the organization.
