It's actually not that much wider than what was there before. It's like 4 inches bigger. Also I looked into moving the entertainment center to another wall, however with the couches, etc... if I moved the entertainment center, either the seating would be blocking things even worse, or half the seats would have a crappy viewing angle. And every other method of moving furniture around meant that there was a lot less seating, since there would be no place for the Sumo bean bag chairs, etc.. I even went so far as busting out the graph paper to see if there was any way of rearranging things. It's just a problem with the layout of that living room. It's big, but there are not a whole lot of ways you can really arrange the furniture in there and have it still be usable or wind up with a ton of dead space you can't use.
Well, you could have scaled it back a touch. But thats crazy talk. Any entertainment center that does not have to be anchored to the floor is crap. And Im sure you, Joey and Chandler know what your doing.
